Whalefall (2026)
Follows a scuba diver who, while looking for his father's remains, is swallowed by an 80-foot, 60-ton sperm whale and has just one hour to get out before his oxygen runs out.
This was a really freaky family drama about a father and son. And the whale who swallowed them… I kid you not.
The majority of this film takes place in a whale’s stomach, well along with a lot of flashbacks to the relationship with father and son.
The son because he is being restricted oxygen at times and dealing with dangerous pressure changes keeps hearing his father talking to him and trying to advise him on how to get out. It is really psychological and creepy.
I’m not sure how accurate the whale inside set is but it was impressive and was done with mostly practical FX.
I thought the entire cast did a good job.
This is a freaky movie that when it comes out on streaming you could watch with Orca and Killer Whale.
Allinall I can honestly give this film a rating of FREAKTACULAR!!!!
