The Heart of Batman is a documentary that tells the incredible story of how Batman: The Animated series came into being.

When asked to make a Batman cartoon, animators Dini and Timm faced doubts about moving past the character's campy TV history. Their work resulted in "Batman: The Animated Series."

This documentary is fantastic and a tribute to the animated series and how it changed the face of an sub-genre, American Cartoons” and made it better than a bunch of funny and wacky kiddie fare. Much like my Camp Crystal Lake Novel series, this show paved the way for all the modern superhero animated shows that do justice to their comic counterparts and gave us the ultimate voices for both Batman and The Joker. This is a must see film for any superhero fan. I highly recommend it.

Predator: Killer of Killers is the newest film in The Predator franchise. This time 20^th Century Fox Studios is giving us an animated anthology that spans centuries of human history.Three of the fiercest warriors in human history, a Viking warrior woman, a survivor of family rivalry in ancient Japan, and a Mexican American pilot in WW2, become prey to the ultimate killer of killer King Predator.

I have to say this is a fantastic concept for a predator film. Shit, you get to see a predator/human air battle. The animation in this film is fantastic. It was the first feature film to use the Unreal Engine. The backgrounds are stunning. It would have been way too expensive to do this film live action.

But be assured this film is bloody as hell. This is not a kiddy film. You get limbs and heads as well as a ton of body parts decorating the background. I can happily say this is the most violent predator film so far. I doubt the upcoming Predator: Badlands is even going to touch this.

If you are a Predator fan you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this one.
